Columbia Steel receives Portland Mayor’s International Business Award
On May 15, 2012, Columbia Steel was awarded the Mayor’s International Business Award for Export Leader by the City of Portland during World Trade Week. World Trade Week gives Oregon’s small and medium-sized companies the opportunity to learn about ways that they can grow and expand into foreign markets, and is organized by Business Oregon, the U.S. Export Assistance Center, the City of Portland, and other local partners.
Columbia Steel was selected for this award because of our increased growth over the last several years in international sales. Our American-made products can be found in industrial uses all over the world, from Australia to Sweden, Mexico, and South Africa.
