Continuing our support of renewable energy
Columbia Steel’s purchase in 2009 of 955,200 kilowatt-hours of electricity generated by renewable sources earned us another certificate of appreciation from Pacific Power. They estimate our usage under the Blue Sky program reduced carbon dioxide release by 1,163,758 pounds, or as much as a car driven 1,183,252 miles.
